European AI Office

The European AI Office is a body within the European Commission, established in February 2024, responsible for supervising and enforcing the EU AI Act, particularly the obligations for providers of general-purpose AI models. It also supports the development of trustworthy AI across the EU and contributes to international cooperation on AI governance.
